How we research

  • We study public posts, collected through a third-party data API.
  • Where we can, we compare each post with its own account's usual views, so a few big accounts can't drown out the rest.
  • In the video studies, AI models label each post without seeing its views. We publish every group size, give a 95% range wherever we estimate an effect, and flag groups too small to trust.
  • These are correlations, not proof of cause. Each page lists its limits next to the data.
  • Every chart and summary file is free to use with a link back to its page.
