The schedule is Postdom's own posting default. The posts are written by the same writer and the same rules Postdom uses for its customers.

  1. 1

Two posts a day per account

One at about 9am and one at about 7pm on your clock, and nothing between 10pm and 7am. That's the default Postdom starts every account on. It is a sensible starting point, not a measured best time.

  2. 2

    A mix of formats

Mornings are slideshows, with a single image every third day. Evenings are short videos. The same post goes to every platform you pick.

  3. 3

    Hooks people would actually say

Each opening line is short and spoken, about 10 words. It names the subject and opens a loop the post closes. Never a question, never a sales pitch.

  4. 4

    Only what your homepage says

We read your homepage once. The writer uses what it says and invents nothing: no made-up clients, prices, reviews or results.

When should you post?

9am and 7pm is Postdom's default, not a finding. The big published studies disagree with each other by platform and by day. We compared them:

Questions about the calendar template

Is this social media calendar template free?

Yes. You can fill in a few plans a day without signing up, and the blank template is always free. Downloads are yours to keep and edit.

How does it know what to post about?

It reads your homepage once: your business name, headline and description. The writer plans topics from that and nothing else. If your homepage says little, pick your business type instead and you'll get a plan for a typical business like yours.

Why two posts a day at 9am and 7pm?

That's the default Postdom starts every account on: at most two posts a day per account, at about 9am and 7pm, and nothing between 10pm and 7am. Published studies of the best time to post disagree by platform, so treat these times as a starting point and adjust them for your audience.

Can I use it in Google Sheets or Excel?

Yes. Download the CSV and open it in Google Sheets with File, then Import, or open it in Excel or Numbers. You can also copy the whole plan and paste it into cell A1 of a new Google Sheet.

Why are none of the hooks questions?

Questions make weak opening lines. In Postdom's own research on 1,018 TikTok photo posts and 105 Instagram carousels, hooks phrased as questions did 0.78 times as well as each account's median. So the writer only writes statements.

What's the difference between this and a blank template?

A blank social media content calendar template gives you the rows. This one fills them in: 60 posts with a topic, an angle and a hook each, already spread across formats and times. You can still download the blank version.

Does Postdom post these for me?

Not from this page. If you sign up, Postdom makes finished posts for your business and schedules them on the same defaults. Nothing posts without your approval.
