1. Postdom: best for turning a whole website into posted videos

Postdom starts from your website address. It reads your main pages and builds a Brand Kit with your services, prices and location, and each fact links to the page it came from, so you can check and edit it. Then it keeps making short vertical videos about what you sell: a hook, text on screen, matching clips and music. It also makes slideshows and single images when a video is not the right fit. It is not a screen recording of your site.

You approve, edit or skip each post, and by default nothing posts until you approve it. Approved videos post to TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels and LinkedIn, at 9am and 7pm in your time zone by default. Postdom learns from what performs, and once 9 of your last 10 posts of one type are approved without edits, it offers to post that type for you.

Not a fit: Postdom does not turn one long article into a long narrated video, does not have an editing timeline and does not run ads. If you need a 5-minute explainer from a blog post, Pictory, InVideo AI or Synthesia fit better. See how it works on the website to video page.

Price: Free is $0. Starter is $39 a month for 30 posts on 3 accounts, Growth $99 for 60 posts on 10 accounts, Scale $229 for 150 posts and Pro $399 for 300 posts. Annual billing gives 2 months free. Details are on the pricing page.

2. Pictory: best all-round URL and blog to video tool

Pictory lists "Generate video from script or URL" on every plan, and has blog to video and URL to video tools. It matches stock footage to your text and adds captions. Starter is $29 a month, or $25 billed annually, for 200 video minutes a month. Professional is $59, or $35 annually. Pictory can be tried free for 14 days with 15 video minutes (Pictory pricing page, read 9 Oct 2026).

3. Lumen5: best for marketing teams repurposing blogs

Lumen5 lets you paste a URL from your blog, upload a PDF or add text. It writes several script options, then pairs the one you pick with media, timing and motion (Lumen5 blog to video page, read 9 Oct 2026). Basic is $19 a month, Starter $59 and Pro $149, all billed yearly. The Free plan makes 5 videos a month up to 2 minutes, in 720p with a Lumen5 outro (Lumen5 pricing page, read 9 Oct 2026).

InVideo AI has a blog to video flow: paste a public blog URL, set the length, platform and tone, and it writes a script, adds footage, voiceover and music. You edit by typing commands such as "delete scene". Starter is $20 a seat a month, or $10 billed annually, with 400 credits. No free plan is listed (InVideo pricing page, read 9 Oct 2026).

5. Synthesia: best for articles into avatar videos

Synthesia's URL to video tool turns a public article or blog into a script narrated by an AI avatar. The page must be public, under 4,500 words, and one you are allowed to use. You can download an MP4 or share a link (Synthesia URL to video page, read 9 Oct 2026). The Basic plan is free with 10 minutes of video a month and a watermark. Starter is $29 a month, or $18 billed yearly (Synthesia pricing page, read 9 Oct 2026).

6. Fliki: best for voiced videos in many languages

Fliki turns ideas, scripts, blog posts or slides into videos, with 300 voices in more than 80 languages on the Free plan. Free gives 3 credits a month, 720p video and a Fliki watermark (Fliki pricing page, read 9 Oct 2026). Paid prices did not display as text on Fliki's page when we read it. Toolradar, verified September 2026, lists Standard at $21 a month and Premium at $66, which are the rates when billed yearly. Paid plans can publish to YouTube (Fliki pricing page, read 9 Oct 2026).

7. FlexClip: best budget editor with URL to video

FlexClip is an online video editor with an AI product URL to video tool. Plus is $11.99 a month and Business $19.99 a month, both billed annually. Free exports are 720p, up to 10 minutes, with a watermark. AI credits cost extra: 300 credits are $9.99 a month on a subscription, or $14.99 as a one-off pack (FlexClip pricing page, read 9 Oct 2026). You can share a finished video straight to YouTube (FlexClip help centre, read 9 Oct 2026).

8. Creatify: best for product pages into ads

Creatify makes video ads from a product URL. Starter is $39 a month for 100 credits, and the Free plan gives 10 credits a month with watermarked exports (Creatify pricing page, read 9 Oct 2026). It is built for paid ads, not for organic posting.

URL to video

URL to video means you paste a link and the tool builds a video from what is on that page. Most tools work the same way:

  1. Paste a public link. Logged-in or paywalled pages usually fail. Synthesia caps the page at 4,500 words.
  2. Check the script. The tool summarises the page into scenes. Read it, because summaries drop context and can get prices or claims wrong.
  3. Swap the visuals. Stock clips are matched to the words in the script, so a few will miss.
  4. Export and post. Most tools stop at a download. You still write the caption, size it for each platform and post it.

Postdom handles step 4 for you. It posts the videos you approve to your accounts.

Website to video

A website is not one page. Your services, prices, reviews, location and offers sit on different pages, and each can become many short videos. That is the difference between website to video and URL to video.

  • One-off tools turn the link you paste into one video. To get 30 videos a month, you paste 30 links and edit 30 times.
  • Postdom reads your main pages once, keeps a Brand Kit of facts you can check, and keeps making new short videos, slideshows and single images from them. It does not repeat the same kind of video twice in a row, and you choose which styles are in your mix.

If what you need is a steady feed of posts, not a single video, this is the route that saves time. You can also see the AI social media post generator for the images and slideshows Postdom makes from the same Brand Kit.

Blog to video

Blog to video is the best-served use case. Pictory, Lumen5, InVideo AI, Synthesia and Fliki all take a blog post link and give you a narrated video. Tips that work in every tool:

  • Pick structured posts. How-to guides and numbered lists turn into clear scenes.
  • Cut to one idea for social. A 2,000-word post makes a good 3-minute YouTube video, but a poor 20-second TikTok. For short video, pull one tip per video.
  • Put the hook on screen. Write the first line as text on screen, not just voice, so the video works with the sound off.
  • Disclose AI where required. YouTube asks creators to disclose realistic AI-made content (YouTube Help, read 9 Oct 2026).

Postdom does not turn a blog post into one long video. It turns what your site says into many short ones, each built around a single point. For videos with no one on camera, see faceless video AI.

How to choose among the best AI tools to turn a website into videos

  1. One video or a steady stream. For one explainer from one article, use Pictory, InVideo AI, Lumen5 or Synthesia. For posts every day from your whole site, use Postdom.
  2. Who posts it. Only Postdom in this list posts to TikTok, Instagram and your other social accounts. Fliki and FlexClip can send a video to YouTube.
  3. Long or short. Long narrated videos suit the blog tools. Short vertical videos suit Postdom.
  4. Ads or organic. Creatify is built for ads. Postdom is built for your own accounts and does not run ads.
