ShortGenius vs Postdom: features, pricing and verdict for 2026

ShortGenius is a short-video autopilot. You set up a series, and it writes and generates the videos and posts them on a schedule. It also makes UGC-style video ads and images, offers an API and MCP server, and says it is used by 100,000+ creators and teams (ShortGenius home page, checked 8 October 2026).

It is strong for creators and teams who want volume in one format and like to steer by theme. Its site does not describe reading your website or brand, a review step before posting, or learning from your edits. No free plan is shown, so you pay $39 a month before you see a post.

ShortGenius is built to post for you once a series is set up. Postdom keeps you in the loop: you approve, edit or skip each post, and nothing posts until you approve it.

ShortGenius sits with the faceless video autopilots. Revid.ai has the same $39 a month entry price and posts to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. Faceless.video starts lower at $20 a month for up to 15 videos and 1 social account. StoryShort is $39 a month, or $23 a month billed yearly (each vendor's pricing page, checked 8 October 2026).

Against Postdom, the difference is the input and the formats. Those tools start from a prompt or theme and make faceless videos. Postdom starts from your website and makes videos, slideshows and single images in your brand, then waits for your approval.
