## Definitions

### Account

Category: Workspace & setup

A saved social account record inside one Postdom workspace. Agent calls use its account ID when selecting a publishing destination or measurement scope.

Reference: https://postdom.com/docs/availability

Related: https://postdom.com/glossary#connected-account · https://postdom.com/glossary#destination · https://postdom.com/glossary#workspace

### Autonomy level

Category: Authority

The human-selected L0–L3 authority mode on a connected account. It determines whether publishing is manual, reviewed per post, approved by plan, or allowed inside saved bounds.

Reference: https://postdom.com/docs/schedules-and-plans

Related: https://postdom.com/glossary#plan · https://postdom.com/glossary#quiet-hours · https://postdom.com/glossary#strictest-account

### Availability state

Category: Measurement

The evidence status attached to a modeled metric field: available, delayed(2-3d), estimable, never, or unverified. It must remain attached to the returned value or null.

Reference: https://postdom.com/docs/reference/availability-states

Related: https://postdom.com/glossary#available · https://postdom.com/glossary#null · https://postdom.com/glossary#numeric-zero

### Available

Category: Measurement

Exact value: `available`

An availability state saying the modeled evidence baseline exposes the field. The returned value can still be null and must be preserved exactly.

Related: https://postdom.com/glossary#availability-state · https://postdom.com/glossary#observation-time · https://postdom.com/glossary#null

### Best-post ranking

Category: Measurement

A ranking of one connected account's posts by one supported metric inside a 7-day or 30-day publication window. Null observations are excluded, never ranked as zero.

Reference: https://postdom.com/docs/tools/get-best-posts

Related: https://postdom.com/glossary#excluded-observation · https://postdom.com/glossary#normalized-metric · https://postdom.com/glossary#observation-time

Reference: https://postdom.com/docs/reference/availability-states

Related: https://postdom.com/glossary#availability-state · https://postdom.com/glossary#null · https://postdom.com/glossary#observation-time

Reference: https://postdom.com/docs/runs-and-outcomes

Related: https://postdom.com/glossary#connected-account · https://postdom.com/glossary#destination-state · https://postdom.com/glossary#post

### Destination state

Reference: https://postdom.com/docs/tools/get-best-posts

Related: https://postdom.com/glossary#best-post-ranking · https://postdom.com/glossary#null · https://postdom.com/glossary#availability-state

### Failed (destination)

Related: https://postdom.com/glossary#workspace-key · https://postdom.com/glossary#workspace · https://postdom.com/glossary#workspace-brief

### Missed schedule

Category: Execution

Exact value: `missed_schedule`

A recoverable post state entered when execution begins more than 15 minutes after the scheduled time. Postdom stops instead of publishing late and returns control to a human.

Reference: https://postdom.com/docs/reference/run-states

### Null

Category: Measurement

Exact value: `null`

Reference: https://postdom.com/docs/tools/get-performance

Related: https://postdom.com/glossary#plan · https://postdom.com/glossary#performance-snapshot · https://postdom.com/glossary#week-over-week

### Queued (destination)

Category: Execution

Exact value: `queued`

A modeled destination state reserved in storage before provider handoff. No configured production path currently creates it, so agents must not expect it from the provider result.

Reference: https://postdom.com/docs/reference/run-states

Related: https://postdom.com/glossary#destination-state · https://postdom.com/glossary#sent · https://postdom.com/glossary#post-state

Related: https://postdom.com/glossary#post · https://postdom.com/glossary#post-state · https://postdom.com/glossary#destination

### Schedule

Related: https://postdom.com/glossary#destination-state · https://postdom.com/glossary#published-destination · https://postdom.com/glossary#terminal-outcome

### Strictest account

Category: Authority

The selected destination account with the lowest autonomy level in a multi-account request. Its level governs the whole request; Postdom does not split authorization.

Reference: https://postdom.com/docs/schedules-and-plans

Related: https://postdom.com/glossary#autonomy-level · https://postdom.com/glossary#destination · https://postdom.com/glossary#plan-authorization

### Terminal outcome

Category: Execution

A recorded completion state: published, partial, or failed. It ends normal polling, although recoverable local evidence can later reconcile partial or failed outcomes.

Reference: https://postdom.com/docs/runs-and-outcomes

Related: https://postdom.com/glossary#post-state · https://postdom.com/glossary#partial · https://postdom.com/glossary#published-post

### Unverified

Category: Measurement

Exact value: `unverified`

An availability state saying recorded evidence has not verified whether the field is exposed. The normalized value is null and includes an explicit reason.

Reference: https://postdom.com/docs/reference/availability-states

Related: https://postdom.com/glossary#availability-state · https://postdom.com/glossary#never · https://postdom.com/glossary#null

A comparison between the latest two completed account-local weeks. It describes movement in returned evidence; it does not establish causality or recommend the next action.

Reference: https://postdom.com/product/social-media-analytics

Related: https://postdom.com/glossary#performance-snapshot · https://postdom.com/glossary#plan-outcome · https://postdom.com/glossary#observation-time

### Workspace

Category: Workspace & setup

The human-owned Postdom boundary containing members, keys, connected accounts, policy, the Workspace Brief, plans, posts, and returned evidence.

Reference: https://postdom.com/docs

Related: https://postdom.com/glossary#workspace-key · https://postdom.com/glossary#connected-account · https://postdom.com/glossary#workspace-brief

### Workspace Brief

Reference: https://postdom.com/docs#agent-onboarding

Related: https://postdom.com/glossary#workspace · https://postdom.com/glossary#mcp-tool · https://postdom.com/glossary#workspace-brief

## Small differences change behavior.

- **Plan vs Schedule:** A plan is an approval boundary. A schedule is the future work Postdom holds and executes.
- **Post vs Destination:** A post is the durable overall record. A destination is one provider-and-account outcome inside it.
- **Sent vs Published:** Sent means the provider accepted a request. Published requires later destination evidence.
- **Zero vs Null:** Zero is measured evidence. Null means no evidence-backed value was returned.
- **Estimable vs Estimated:** Estimable says suitable evidence could support a value. It does not say a value was computed.

## Preserve the exact value.

Use these definitions to interpret the contract, never to rewrite it. Keep state names, IDs, timestamps, numeric zero, null, availability, and supplied reasons exactly as returned.

- Agent contract: https://postdom.com/agent-contract.md
- Run states: https://postdom.com/docs/reference/run-states.md
- Availability states: https://postdom.com/docs/reference/availability-states.md

## When the word matters, follow the source.

The glossary explains meaning. Tool schemas and reference pages remain authoritative for callable fields and exact state transitions.
